Central European Joint Infoday on Centralised Actions
of the Erasmus+ Programme

Bratislava, October 18 - 19, 2018

About the event

The Central European Joint Infoday is organised by Erasmus+ National Agencies from four neighbouring countries: Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. The event is set in the context of the Erasmus+ Call for Proposals 2019 and focuses on the international dimension of the programme, i. e. actions supporting cooperation between Programme Countries and Partner Countries in the higher education sector. The following actions will be presented during the infoday: Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees, Capacity Building in Higher Education, Jean Monnet and Knowledge Alliances. These are centralised actions managed by the EACEA Executive Agency in Brussels. Additionally, during a networking session National Agency representatives will provide information on international credit mobility, a decentralised action managed by National Agencies in each Programme Country.

Theoretical background of each centralised action will be introduced on the first day. Practical aspects of project preparation and implementation will be covered in parallel workshops building on presentations of good practice examples on the second day. Conference participants will also have the opportunity to meet National Erasmus+ Offices and/or EU Delegations from several Partner Countries whose representatives will explain priorities of their respective countries/regions relevant for future project proposals. Through in-depth practical presentations and discussions as well as a networking session called “Market Place” the organisers expect to provide encouragement and practical support to potential applicants under the next Erasmus+ call for proposals.

The event primarily targets representatives of higher education institutions from Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as enterprises interested in international dimension of the Erasmus+ programme.
